In a New York State of Mind

People don't give a shit of what you think. Let alone what you want. You're just another link in the chain. No, it isn't half as grueling surviving on this red dot compared to the Big Apple. Maybe it's just because we aren't fully packed with immigrants yet.

The streets here are filled with drivers on a mission to eradicate cyclists from the roads. What should we do? Fight back. Don't take shit from them. Once you do, half the battle is lost. Bus drivers sweep by inches from your bars, cabbies performing their emergency stop right in front of you. Other drivers just don't use their brains, so we got to do the thinking for them by anticipating their moves.

Traffic jams. Whoa. PLAYTIME. Weaving through cars, taunting that guy in the shiny BMW, fippin' drivers off just for fun, and you're the fastest thing moving down the street. Good times.

Do excuse my strong emotions and words. Need more time on the bike and this weather aint helping.

Dreams of Monstertrack - which has been cancelled this year btw.
